St. Louis



This trip was a little different from my usual travels. While I was in Zambia, I was added to a group chat about a surprise trip to St. Louis. We were planning to surprise my favorite cousin, and of course, I was completely down to go.

It was my first time visiting St. Louis, so I really didn't know what to expect. What surprised me most was the city itself. From the beautiful architecture to the colorful homes and neighborhoods, there was so much to see. In a lot of ways, it felt completely different from Georgia, which made exploring it even more interesting.

I couldn't help but laugh when I thought about something my cousin had pointed out to me before the trip. I used to always say, "What's in St. Louis?" And here I was, waking up at 6 a.m. just to head into the city and take photographs.

That's one of the things I love about photography. A place you might not think much about from a distance can completely change once you're actually there with a camera in your hand.

My first trip to St. Louis definitely changed my perspective. There was more to photograph and explore than I expected, and I know I only scratched the surface.

St. Louis is absolutely worth visiting, and I'm sure this won't be my last time there. I'll definitely be back—with my camera ready.
